Here's a healthy snack you can make that will satisfy your sweet and nutty cravings, but with no refined added sugar. 

Maggie Dolan, a fabulous customers of ours, created this combo and we love it!


  • 100g chopped cacao block
  • 1 tbs nut butter of choice (like peanut, almond, cashew or tahini)
  • 1 tsp chicory root syrup by HomeSpun
  • A splash of oat milk or oat cream
  • Handful of dried fruit
  • Handful of nuts
  • Handful of coconut chips
  • Optional extras or substitutes: vanilla extract / dried raspberries / rosewater


  1. Melt the cacao in a bowl, place over a pot with a little water (bain-marie)
  2. Add in the oat milk or oat cream
  3. Stir in the peanut butter
  4. Pour onto a paper parchment lined tray
  5. Sprinkle over the nuts and fruit
  6. Let cool, then place in fridge to harden
  7. Chop it up however you like - big or small pieces
