Not loving the new packaging

Really liked the minimalist original packaging, but was not thrilled to see the new redesign and use of plastic. The cost of nibbed has skyrocketed over the last year or two from its original price which I could understand with the general cost of living crisis but if the increase was to fund the rebranding it feels like a step backward. I'm not sure if it's related but I definitely find the quality of the cacao more brittle and difficult to chop after it arrived in it's new packaging. I love supporting an Irish business run by two women so I do want to remain a customer but I think any foodstuff moving away from paper to plastic packaging makes me apprehensive about using it and given the target audience for cacao, I'm sure I'm not the only one who preferred the old brown paper packaging.
