Also check out our larger 500g pack or the pure cacao block.

We have a recipe here, and we would also encourage you to experiment with what you like.

Try different milks like coconut, almond, soy or dairy (if that's your thing). We love oat as it's naturally sweet. Some people love it with no milk, just water.

Spices like cinnamon, ground cardamom, chilli, ginger, or vanilla extract are lovely additions. Or food-grade essential oils like lavender, rose or wild orange (be very careful to only use a drop as they are super strong!).

And lastly, you can add sweetener if you like. Try maple syrup, honey, date syrup or coconut sugar. But we do suggest only a tiny bit of sweetener :)

Pure Cacao Block [200g]

Brilliant!

I've loved the pure cacao block for making drinks from the first cup. I don't drink coffee, and tea doesn't always cut it, but I wasn't happy with the amount of sugar in a normal hot chocolate. This hits it just right for me (20g and a little bit of honey in 1/2 cup of full fat dairy milk + 1/2 cup water). I wish I could justify having a cuppa each day from now on, but that's not in my budget right now. That said, the product is absolutely value for money, given the flavour, quality and the fact there's nothing extra added, just pure cacao. Love it!

Pure Cacao

A recent convert to using cacao I have been using powerded cacao but thought I would give block cacao a try. I like the way it melts into the milk making blending easier for my arthritic joints. Loving it so far.

Ritual

I love this. I love the process of making it and drinking it out of a nice mug. I love the idea of it being a daily ritual and I even love that you break the norm by suggesting it replace the morning coffee. I recently went on a yoga retreat where this was served and had to get some for myself. Now I shall be buying as Christmas presents as well. After a stressful day at work yesterday I opted for a hot cacao over a glass of wine and felt wonderful for it. Thank you
