Salted Maple Hot Cacao: The Perfect Autumn Pick-Me-Up
As the mornings get darker and colder, it’s harder to find the motivation to jump out of bed and start your day. But we’ve got just the thing to help you embrace the cosy vibes of autumn while giving you a gentle boost of energy – our Salted Maple Hot Cacao.
This recipe is a delicious blend of creamy coconut milk, rich cacao, a hint of maple sweetness, and a touch of sea salt. Not only does it taste indulgent, but it’s also packed with benefits that will support your well-being, especially as the seasons change.
Why Cacao?
Cacao is a natural energy enhancer that provides sustained energy without the jitters or crashes that caffeine often brings. This is thanks to theobromine, a compound found in cacao that works in harmony with your body to gently lift energy levels and improve focus. It’s the perfect way to ease into those darker mornings.
But that’s not all. Cacao is also a fantastic source of prebiotic fibre – in fact, just one serving provides 2g of prebiotic fibre. This can help support your gut by feeding beneficial bacteria in your digestive system, which in turn promotes better digestion and overall wellness.
