The Basic Cacao Recipe
Simple, satisfying, and easy to customise.
This is our go-to method for a cosy, everyday cup. You can tweak it to suit your taste - use more milk for extra creaminess, or add a little maple if you like it sweeter.
You’ll need:

20g Nibbed grated cacao

¼ tsp ground cardamom

½ tsp ground cinnamon

80ml water

150ml coconut or oat milk

Optional: maple syrup, honey, or a sweetener you like
How to make it:

Heat your water and milk.

Add cacao and stir in your spices.

Froth until fully melted and smooth (don’t let it boil).
