Salted Sesame Cacao Bark

This three-ingredient cacao bark is giving: rich, dark, nutty, and just sweet enough. Think deep, silky cacao with a hint of honey, a light crunch from toasted sesame, and a sprinkle of sea salt to bring it all together. No dairy, no refined sugar, just the most moreish healthy snack that you can prep in 5 mins!

This is the snack for when you want something indulgent but still kinda wholesome. Perfect for afternoon cravings, post-dinner treats, or sneaky nibbles straight from the fridge (we won’t judge).

WHAT YOU NEED

  • 100g Nibbed Pure Cacao (grated or block)
  • 1 tbsp honey (or maple syrup if that’s your thing)
  • A sprinkle of flaky sea salt (the ✨ magic ✨ ingredient)
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (hello, crunch)


HOW TO MAKE IT

1. Melt the cacao in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring gently until smooth.
2. Take off the heat and stir in the honey (or maple) until fully combined.
3. Pour onto a lined tray, spreading into a thin layer.
4. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sea salt (don’t skip this step).

Chill in the fridge for 30 mins, then snap into bite-sized pieces.

HOW TO MAKE IT EVEN BETTER

Extra crunch? Add chopped dates (for a chewy salted caramel twist).
Flavour boost? A pinch of cinnamon or a tahini swirl is an elite combo.
