how to make iced cacao
There's a certain shift in the air…
The days are stretching longer, the sun is popping out to say hello, and your daily ritual is quietly evolving with the season. But here's the thing, you don't abandon cacao when the temperature rises. You just discover a whole new way to enjoy it.
That's the magic of cacao. It doesn't ask you to drink it one way. Some days call for a slow, warming mug. Others call for something cold, creamy, and completely refreshing. There's no rule. There's no wrong answer. Just cacao, meeting you wherever you are.
This iced cacao recipe is everything your warmer days have been waiting for, naturally energising, creamy, and just the right amount of indulgent. Made with Nibbed Cacao, it takes less than five minutes and delivers that same clean, mood-lifting energy you love, just a little cooler.

how to make iced cacao
step 1: start with your cacao
add 20g of nibbed cacao to a jug or large glass with 20ml of hot water.
step 2: mix it up
use a frother (or a spoon if you’re keeping it low-tech) to whizz it up until it starts to melt and smooth out.
step 3: add your extras
this is where you can make it your own, a pinch of sea salt a dash of cinnamon, a drizzle of maple syrup, a drop of vanilla… go on.
step 4: pour in your milk
add about 3/4 of a glass of your milk of choice.
coconut milk is a favourite here, naturally sweet, super creamy, no fuss.
step 5: whisk again
give it another good whizz so everything is smooth, silky, and properly combined.
step 6: pour over ice
fill your glass with ice and pour your cacao over.
take a moment. admire it. enjoy it.
why it’s a better iced drink option
this isn’t your average iced coffee situation.
-
rich in antioxidants
-
a natural source of magnesium
-
known for supporting mood and calm energy
so instead of a spike → crash situation…
you get a more steady, feel-good kind of lift.
