Some snacks are just snacks.

Because yes… they are that good.
why this snack works so well
When a sweet craving hits, it helps to have something satisfying to reach for. These bites combine dates for natural sweetness, peanut butter for richness, and pure cacao, which is high in magnesium.
Enter: dates + peanut butter + nibbed pure cacao.
ingredients
- 12 Medjool dates
- 2 tbsp peanut butter (about 30g)
- 80–100g nibbed pure organic cacao
- Flaky sea salt, to finish
Optional extras:
- Crushed nuts
- Cinnamon
how to make them
- Prep your dates. Slice your Medjool dates open and remove the stones.
- Fill with peanut butter. Add about half a teaspoon of peanut butter into each date.
- Melt your cacao. Melt your nibbed pure organic cacao bain-marie style: put it in a heatproof bowl over a pot of gently simmering water, making sure the bowl doesn't touch the water, and stir until smooth and glossy.
- Drizzle. Arrange the stuffed dates on a plate or tray and spoon the melted cacao over the top.
- Finish and chill. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt, then place in the fridge or freezer until set.
That's it. Dangerously simple.
why these ingredients work together
cacao = magnesium
Pure cacao is naturally high in magnesium, with a deep bittersweet flavour that balances the sweet dates.
dates = natural sweetness
Dates give you natural sweetness and fibre, so there's no added sugar.
They're basically nature's caramel. Which feels unfairly good.
peanut butter = richness + satisfaction
Peanut butter adds richness and a salty edge.
Also… peanut butter just makes life better.
Scientific enough.
