Blood Sugar Balancing Ferrero Rocher Smoothie

We've been craving thick and chocolatey smoothies this summer but quick blood sugar spikes and crashes didn't match the healthy start we need in the morning.
So... when we put together this indulgent ferrero rocher inspired smoothie, we had to share it with you.
here's the recipe:
ingredients
- 20g nibbed cacao block / nibbed grated cacao
- 1/4 cup hot water (not boiling)
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 1/2 frozen courgette
- lots of ice 1tbsp
- flaxseed 2tbsp
- collagen / vegan protein powder
- a dash of ceylon cinnamon
- 1 date
- 1tsp organic hazelnut butter
- pinch of Himalayan pink salt
method
- Add hot water (not boiling!!) to a blender and 20g nibbed pure cacao
- Blend for 15 seconds
- Add all the remaining ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until smooth
- Sprinkle some grated cacao and cinnamon on top
- Enjoy :))
Tip:
Use hot water instead of boiling water with pure cacao to maintain the cacao's antioxidant properties.
